GENERATOR, LOCAL 64, and NORMAN WILLIAMS PUBLIC LIBRARY SIGN ON AS EVENT PARTNERS

Festival Organizers are pleased to announce a roster of sponsors and event partners for the 5th annual event, including several new supporters in addition to the Vermont Agency for Economic Development, Yonder, and Vermont Public Television, who are renewing their support this year.

“Champlain College’s MFA in Emergent Media is thrilled to be a sponsor of this year’s Woodstock Digital Media Festival as our programs share a vision of digital media designers as cultural influencers. We look forward to partaking in the insights of those who take into account the cultural impacts and personal transformations afforded in this new networked, participatory paradigm,” said Ann DeMarle, Associate Dean of the program.

Stephen Pite, Director of the MFA in Film program at Vermont College of Fine Arts said: “The Woodstock Digital Media Festival presents the widest perspective on digital communications and imaging I have ever seen in one place on one day. Awesome. Informative. Thoughtful. Provocative. Inspiring.”

Along with its new and returning sponsors, WDMF is also pleased to announce Generator from Burlington, VT, Local 64 from Montpelier, and Woodstock’s Norman Williams Public Library as event partners.

As in past years, the Festival will bring speakers from around the country to the special surroundings of Woodstock, Vermont.

“We are very happy to join with important regional institutions in making the Festival happen in 2015, and we hope to continue building this event together” said David McGowan, principal organizer. “WDMF15 could never happen if it wasn’t for all of our partners.”

As in past years, Festival events are free and open to the public. More details about the Festival program at www.woodstockdigital.com.
